Mekonnen Ykeallo, owner and cook of the Azmarino has the authentic African spices he uses in his original East African Dishes sent by his mother which gives the creations their unique and true Eritrean/Ethiopian taste.

The Host

With his guests Mek and his staff shares the dishes he grew up with and prepares with care and passion. This allows his guests to experience the 100% East-African taste of his meals.

With a smile on our face and beautiful African background music we welcome you and your guests. The atmosphere is informal with an African look and feel. The restaurant is decorated with beautiful paintings by Yohannes Nerayo.
